API 13 A Sec 11 is a premium grade Bentonite. It is a viscosifier and fluid loss reducer agent for all types of water based systems.

Product Properties:

Reduces fluid loss and prevents water seepage into permeable formations
Improve hole-cleaning capability of drilling fluids
Extracts drill cuttings from the bit
Reduce filtration by forming a thin filter cake with low permeability

Provides lubricity for drilling fluids
Little loss of drilling fluids
Withstands formation pressure
Mixes easily and quickly reaches maximum viscosity
Yields more than twice as much mud of the same viscosity as an equal weight of API oilfield grades of bentonite
